Restoration Ministries operates the South Holland Thrift Store and the Harvey Thrift Store. Our Thrift Stores provide important financial support for our organization. Through the generous donations of individuals and businesses, we offer residents of the south suburbs opportunities to purchase quality clothes, fine furniture, appliances, and household items at affordable prices, while generating revenue to support our programs. We offer free donation pick ups or donors can drop off donations at our South Holland Thrift Store. We also provide clean-out services for people who are downsizing, clearing out a parent’s home or after an estate sale. Call 708-876-8413 for more information.

An important aspect of our stores is our mission to provide employment training and opportunities for individuals with limited job experience. Residents of Harvey House and Tabitha House acquire basic job skills at the stores. For our residents, working at the store is a stepping stone for them to get back into the workforce, and it offers them opportunities to gain job skills and build their resumes. After completing these drug recovery programs, many are hired for full-time positions.
